There is a very good reason why we have used the word authentic in our company name. The experience we want to offer you is authentic in every way possible, ensuring that you have the opportunity to experience for yourself the uniquely kiwi way of hunting and fishing.

Your experienced guide will take you to the spots that will maximise your chances of success.

The thrill of the chase, the adrenaline rush of finding and catching your prey, these are all part of the authentic experience. There are no fenced paddocks with animals trapped with nowhere to go, there is only pure, natural New Zealand bush and vibrant New Zealand lakes and rivers with natural populations of prey available to catch. Your guide will show you the tried and true kiwi way of hunting and fishing.

As director of Authentic New Zealand Hunting and Fishing Ltd I offer you the security and peace of mind of having 20 years hunting experience. I also have an Advanced Bushcraft /DOE Hillary Award Gold from The New Zealand Mountain Safety Council, an up to date first aid certificate and all the gear and equipment required to keep you safe in the bush and in the water.

We create packages to suit each client so that you get the experience you want, not some cookie-cutter experience that is the same for everyone. Let us know what you are looking for and we will design a package to suit your requirements and your budget. You can combine any or all of the activities we offer or do any individually, it’s your experience so it’s your choice.

Please note: For all activities and experiences at Authentic New Zealand Hunting and Fishing Limited you will be required to sign a “Waiver of Liability”, as all of these activities are potentially dangerous, with foreseen and unforeseen risks. This waiver must be signed prior to, or immediately upon, your arrival at the location of your hunting and/or fishing experience.
